red is such a horrid color
they copied and still ended up with shit. but then again they’ve been our evil twin brother (or sister gotta be PC) forever. after all we gave them script ohio and there’s maize and blue flowers inside the dome at the entrance of the ‘shoe. they wanna be us and hate us at the same time.
It’s not like we invented the format, though. You could see a shirt like this on Grateful Dead tour (and presumably elsewhere) decades ago. So, maybe moderately lame but hardly criminal.
It’s not just the style, but also how similar the content is.
“ONE VOICE” vs. “ONE BATTLE CRY TO UNITE US ALL” (there’s something to be said for brevity)
Also the fact that they came out within 2 years of each other. Maybe the person who designed it thought the phrase went “if you can beat ’em, join ’em”
